Whiskey Tasting Classes
Outside of tours, we also offer guided whiskey tastings. Guests will learn the fascinating history of whiskey, as they sip along with one of our specially created flights.
Tastings also cover the production process, and take an in-depth look at barrel aging and blending. Our expert hosts will reveal the secrets of the pros as they teach you how to nose, taste, and evaluate a whiskey like a distiller.

Kings County makes great entry-level and everyday whiskeys. But we also make some of the most coveted bottles in whiskey. Led by a Bourbon Steward on staff, this classis an exploration of allocated, distillery exclusive, and single barrel offerings.
You'll start with a high-level tour of the distillery before the tasting. The tasting lineup features some of our more rare and coveted bottles that are no longer found out in the world. This might include past award-winning barrel strength batches, previous black label releases, or single barrel exclusives.
This the rare chance to taste whiskeys that are completely sold out in most places. For $75, you'll taste through half-ounce pours of bottles that are nearly impossible to find, and with all the context to appreciate the art and craft of what makes Kings County so sought after.
Whether you are a long time fan of whiskey or a recent convert, this is the best chance to try our most superlative whiskeys. This class is designed to be offered once a month, while availability of our archival bottles lasts.
"Bluegrass in Brooklyn" Holiday Tour
Sat Dec 19th at 7pm
Join Kings County Distillery for a festive Bluegrass in Brooklyn Holiday Tour that blends Appalachian history, hands-on craft, and music. On a guided stroll through the distillery and barrel room you’ll hear the story behind Kings County’s Kentucky roots and see how moonshine, bourbon, and other whiskeys are made. After the tour, create your own infused moonshine while sipping a hot boozy cider and enjoying traditional holiday carols on the record player. The evening finishes with live bluegrass performed by local band.
